tell me you haven't had like 50 heart attacks in the past week... my stomach hurts every time i think that the rest of this year is either going to suck or rock depending on this coming weekend. also, have you ever heard of a the term ashnazi?

I keep feeling like I'm jinxing it by entering the pool to be eligible to buy post season tickets. Chip and I are constantly knocking on wood when those damned sportscasters from NESN make glowing pronouncements about the Sox all willy-nilly in the face of fate.

Scientists are currently trying to find the genetic adam and eve. there was an article in national geographic about all of this...anyways, as a result of this study, they found that there is a group of jewish people that refered to as the ashnazi. this study suggests that this group of jewish people, roughly 80% of all jewish people alive, have this special thing. its a disease that effects thier brains that can be fatal but it also stimulates parts of their brains that most humans don't use. this, in effect, makes them genetically smarter. on average, thier IQs are typically 20 points higher than the average joe or jane. the article said that this happened because of all of the horrible things jews have had to suffer and these genes thrived because they were less likely to marry and reproduce outside of thier religion.
it is actually a really fascinating article. i had never heard that term before and was wondering if iwas the only one or something. just curious.
The Red Sox are breakingmy heart girl....What is going on? They are falling apart. I don't think my ticker can take a three game series at fenway at the end of the season to decide who will go and won't....make it stop! please!
